Our business began back in 2012 when my husband asked me to join him in starting up our new adventure.Sandy had been making jam since 2001 when he had been working with his family at their farm shop. Since then, we have grown our range of jams and marmalades to include curds and chutneys, all 'Made by Me’….and a little help from Sandy.
Sandy, the Jam Man as he was known back in his early jam making years, taught himself from his Grandmother’s old recipe book…and the rest is history!
Our Kids have been an important part of our business, as they enjoy helping us decide new flavours.
When we started we used the Rhubarb from Sandy's Grandmother’s garden but now we get it hand picked from a local farmer in Angus, as there wasn't enough to keep us going.
We source our berries from the Angus and Perthshire countryside to minimise food miles.
Our lemon curd has become legendary and is now our Number one product
We use Scottish free range eggs along with Scottish butter which give it a very smooth creamy texture, leaving you wanting to go back for more.
